8. Magnetic Pump
The magnetic pump consists of three parts: the pump, magnetic coupling, and drive motor. A centrifugal impeller is mounted at the left end of the pump shaft, while an inner magnetic rotor is installed at the right end. The pump shaft is supported by sliding bearings. The bracket connects the pump and motor, ensuring the positional accuracy of the inner and outer magnetic rotors. When the motor drives the outer magnetic rotor to rotate, the magnetic field passes through the air gap and isolation sleeve, causing the inner magnetic rotor to rotate synchronously, thereby driving the impeller to rotate.

Compared to centrifugal pumps with mechanical or packing seals, magnetic drive pumps offer the following advantages: 1. The pump shaft transitions from dynamic sealing to enclosed static sealing, completely eliminating medium leakage. 2. Independent lubrication and cooling water are unnecessary, reducing energy consumption. 3. Transmission shifts from coupler-driven to synchronous dragging, eliminating contact and friction. This results in low power consumption, high efficiency, and damping vibration effects, mitigating the impact of motor vibration on the pump and vice versa when cavitation vibration occurs in the pump. 4. Under overload conditions, the inner and outer magnetic rotors slip relative to each other, providing protection for both the motor and the pump.
